Art Nouveau Residence in Vinohrady

The building was constructed in the year 1908 on the site of a former vineyard, on the corner of a street named after the Švihanka mansion, which became part of Riegrovy sady at the beginning of the 20th century.

The residence has undergone a thorough renovation and features 28 airy apartments, from studios to four-bedrooms in layout and ranging from 19 to 177 sq. m. in size. The interiors of all the apartments, except for the 6 newly built lofts, have been left in their original state. The facade of the six-story building with an elevator has been restored, and features many gorgeous original details. It boasts stunning common areas, including an ornate entrance hall illuminated with crystal chandeliers.
„A home – I can never repeat this enough – is not a space, but a process. It’s where I take shelter from the rain and the cold, where I live, spend my free time, it’s where my family lives and my children are born, I create it over time, throughout the years, with patience and tolerance and positivity. A home is a living thing.”
